DAB lawmaker Edward Lau tests positive for Covid

Legislative Council member Edward Lau Kwok-fan tested positive for Covid-19 through a rapid antigen test on Monday morning.

The lawmaker from the Democratic Alliance for the Betterment and Progress of Hong Kong wrote on his social media this morning that he is now undergoing isolation.

He noted that he last went back to the Legislative Council Complex for work on August 12 and has been wearing masks when interacting with office staff.

Lau said he received three doses of the Covid vaccine and has only developed mild symptoms of Covid. He also called on people to get vaccinated as soon as possible to better protect themselves.
