A citywide manhunt is under way for three men who assaulted and robbed a man of HK$5 million in electronic chips, in an afternoon mugging in Tuen Mun.
According to police, the man was attacked at the East Asia Industrial Building on Ho Tin Street in Tuen Mun at about 3pm on Wednesday. The assailants roughed up the man before stealing HK$5 million worth of electronic chips.
The three suspects then hopped onto a getaway van and fled the scene.
Police scoured the area and set up roadblocks around the territory, but no arrests were made, and detectives from the New Territories North Regional Police Headquarters are now handling the case.
