The tropical depression over Hainan Island is forecast to move west or west-northwest at about 18 kilometres per hour towards Beibu Wan.
The forecast said Koguma will still bring occasional squally showers and strong winds to Hong Kong tomorrow.
“With an anticyclone aloft strengthening gradually early to mid week next week, showers will ease off and it will be brighter over the region,” the forecaster said.
Temperatures will be between 27 and 33 degrees Celsius, according to the official nine-day forecast.
