Police HQ siege: Agnes Chow admits two charges

Three pro-democracy activists Joshua Wong Chi-fung, Agnes Chow Ting, and Ivan Lam Long-yin, charged for their involvement in besieging the police headquarters in Wan Chai on June 21 last year, appeared at the Eastern Magistrates' Courts today.

Agnes Chow pleaded guilty to a count of incitement to knowingly take part in an unauthorized assembly and knowingly taking part in an unauthorized assembly, while Joshua Wong and Ivan Lam denied the charges. Wong was also charged with a count of organizing an unauthorized assembly.

Mitigation and sentencing for Chow will take place on August 5 at the West Kowloon Magistrates' Courts, and a pre-trial review for Wong and Lam will also take place that day.

All three defendants will remain on bail on original conditions.
