First-hand look at urban farming

Henderson Land Development organized an urban farming experience called "Harvest Above," together with the government's Strive and Rise program.

Over 100 attendees, including Chief Secretary for Administration Chan Kwok-ki and Henderson Land's executive director Augustine Wong Ho-ming, made a visit to the farm to experience organic farming and farm-to-table produce.

Wong hoped event will cultivate a strong work ethic in the students and mentors and empower more young people to broaden their horizons and plan for the future.

Harvest Above, launched by Henderson Land, is an urban organic farming initiative that brings green spaces to the city. The project aims to promote a sustainable lifestyle and enhance the overall well-being of the local community.

The Harvest Above urban farms are located on the rooftops of H Zentre in Tsim Sha Tsui and Manulife Financial Center in Kwun Tong.
