Lai Sun in Zhuhai pact

Lai Sun has signed an agreement with the Zhuhai Duty Free Group to cooperate in Hengqin Island, a special economic zone in Zhuhai.

Under the pact, Zhuhai Duty Free Group will open duty-free outlets in Novotown, the commercial real estate project developed by the Hong Kong developer on the island.

The cooperation came as China plans to improve links between Macau and Hengqin Island. The two parties said they will combine their competitive advantages to collaborate on a number of innovative tourism and retail projects within the zone.
