HSUnity welcomes 1,800 freshmen

The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong welcomed 1,800 freshmen in its two-day orientation event.

The orientation event - themed as HSUnity - Wisdom - aims to give wisdom and unity to every student.

Senior students shared their learning experiences and hosted group events for the new students.

The university's president Simon Ho Shun-man said: "Hang Seng University is a community, where teachers and students support each other, learn from each other and develop themselves, and are committed to creating an academic environment where wisdom can thrive."

Meanwhile, the private university received another donation from Tin Ka Ping Foundation in continuous support for the next three years. It encourages students with excellent academic performance by providing financial assistance to those in need so that they can unleash their potential.

A total of 57 students have benefited from the Tin Ka Ping Scholarship and Bursary Scheme, allowing them to strive in their studies and pursue their dreams.
