Citybus crashes into railing in Tsuen Wan, no injuries

A Citybus crashed into a railing, two trees and a lamppost on Castle Peak Road in Tsuen Wan on Monday night, causing severe front-end damage but no injuries, the bus company said.

The incident occurred around 10pm near The Mills. The bus, which was not in service and had no passengers on board, was travelling from Tuen Mun depot to Elements in Kowloon when it lost control, hit a railing, then knocked down two trees and a lamppost before mounting the pavement.

Citybus said it has suspended the driver from duty and will cooperate with police in investigating the cause of the accident.
