With the Easter and Ching Ming Festival holidays approaching, the MTR Corporation will enhance train services on the East Rail Line and the Airport Express, and add extra short-haul High Speed Rail trips between Hong Kong and Shenzhen from Wednesday to next Tuesday.
On the East Rail Line, services during morning and evening periods from April 2 to 7 will be strengthened, with increased trips for both southbound and northbound trains. Morning services to Lok Ma Chau will be boosted from every 10 minutes to around every six to eight minutes.
For the Airport Express, from tomorrow to Friday, the first train will depart earlier at 5.35am. The last train will depart later at 1am from AsiaWorld-Expo Station on April 7.
In addition, to facilitate tomb sweepers, MTR Bus route K52A between Tuen Mun Station on the Tuen Ma Line and Tsang Tsui Columbarium will extend its operating hours and increase frequency.
