A man was rescued on Monday evening after falling into the sea near Tsing Yi South Bridge, police said.

The incident occurred around 8pm when nearby fishermen witnessed the man entering the water and alerted authorities. Water police and firefighters quickly arrived at the scene and retrieved the man from the water.
The rescued individual was brought ashore at a nearby pier, placed on a stretcher covered with a thermal blanket, and taken by ambulance to Princess Margaret Hospital for treatment. The circumstances leading to the fall are under investigation.
