Elderly woman found floating off Sai Wan Ho, unconscious in hospital

A 75-year-old woman was found floating in the sea about five metres off a park in Sai Wan Ho on Monday evening and was rushed to hospital unconscious, police said.

A passer-by reported spotting the woman in the water near the park on Tai Hong Street around 7pm. Firefighters arrived and pulled the woman, surnamed Cheung, from the sea. She was unconscious and taken to Eastern Hospital for treatment.

The cause of the incident is under investigation.
