At the scene, the white Mercedes was stopped on the hard shoulder with its front end severely damaged, debris scattered across the road, and its airbags deployed. The black seven-seater was stationary on the fast lane with its left side dented.
Police investigation and debris clearance led to lane closures on part of Ching Cheung Road, causing heavy traffic with a tailback extending towards Beacon Heights.
