7 injured after minibus slams into parked truck in Tai Wai

Seven people were injured after a green minibus crashed into the rear of a parked truck in Tai Wai on Thursday night.

The accident occurred around 8pm on Fu Kin Street toward the Union Hospital near Lung Hang Estate. The minibus, carrying 10 passengers, lost control and hit the truck.

The injured include the male driver and six passengers. The minibus's front was severely crumpled, with its windshield shattered and part of the front wedged under the truck. Smoke was reportedly seen after the crash, and those inside initially could not open the doors.

Police are investigating the cause.
