Sponsored by S.Pellegrino & Acqua Panna and hosted with the Hong Kong Tourism Board, the event will bring together top chefs, restaurateurs and food media for a multi-day program. The list, voted by a gender-balanced academy of over 350 industry experts and independently adjudicated by Deloitte, will include the Best Restaurant in Asia title, won by Bangkok's Gaggan in 2025.
A spokesperson said Hong Kong's unparalleled dining landscape blending tradition, innovation and global influence makes it the perfect setting to celebrate the region's culinary diversity.
HKTB executive director Anthony Lau said Hong Kong's blend of global culinary cultures offers diverse gastronomic experiences, and they look forward to welcoming top chefs and industry figures.
The program includes forums, collaborative dining experiences, a chefs' feast and media roundtables. Special awards and the extended 51–100 list will be announced ahead of the ceremony, which will be broadcast live on the 50 Best YouTube channel.
