A 27-year-old South Asian motorcyclist died after colliding with two KMB buses in Ngau Chi Wan on Sunday night.

The accident occurred at about 8pm when the motorcycle was traveling along Kwun Tong Road toward Kwun Tong near Ping Shek Estate. The rider was thrown from his vehicle after a collision with a bus and subsequently run over by another approaching KMB bus that couldn't stop in time.
The seriously injured motorcyclist lost consciousness and was transported by ambulance to United Christian Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
The Transport Department reported heavy traffic in the area with partial lane closures on Kwun Tong Road (toward Kwun Tong direction) near Ping Shek Estate due to the accident. Motorists can use remaining lanes.

KMB responded to inquiries stating that at approximately 8:30pm, one of their buses was traveling in the second lane of Kwun Tong Road near Tsui Shek House of Ping Shek Estate when a motorcycle in the first lane allegedly changed lanes and made contact with the bus's left side, causing the rider to lose balance and subsequently collide with another KMB bus following behind.
KMB expressed deep sorrow over the incident and has sent representatives to extend condolences to the family. Both drivers involved have been suspended from driving duties pending investigation. The company stated it will fully cooperate with police investigation.
