Amidst a flurry of rumors regarding potential closures of its MTR station branches, Maxim's Cakes issued a statement on social media yesterday (Aug 5), emphasizing that the MTR is an important partner and are announcing plans to open new stores across various districts in the coming year.
Since the opening of its first branch at Central MTR station in 1982, the company noted that Maxim's Cakes has expanded alongside the MTR network to many major stations throughout the city.
To clarify the rumors, the company indicated that they recently opened a new concept store at Admiralty station in July and confirmed that the Tsuen Wan station branch remains operational.
Additionally, the company mentioned that it will continue to develop its strategies based on market conditions, with more new stores anticipated in the coming year.
Expressing confidence in the city’s market, Maxim's Cakes assured customers of an enhanced shopping experience through ongoing optimization of their products and services.
According to Maxim's Cakes’s website, there are currently over 40 branches along the MTR network.
