Banks, museum close under inclement weather

Banks in the city have closed on Tuesday (Aug 5), while the M+ Museum announced its closure for the whole day due to inclement weather.

In accordance with the Hong Kong Association of Banks' arrangements during severe weather, the banks will remain closed for the day as the Black Rainstorm Warning Signal remains in effect at 12pm. 

Meanwhile, the M+ Museum in the West Kowloon Cultural District announced that it will remain closed today as the Black rainstorm warning is expected to stay in force at least until 3.00 pm.
