A man was found dead at an abandoned school in Yuen Long on Thursday after committing suicide.
Police responded to a report at 8.39am and confirmed the man's death at the scene, after he was found lifeless at Tat Tak School -- a well-known haunted site according to the residents.
No suicide note was found, and the man's identity remains under investigation.
Originally established in 1931 as a public primary school in Ping Shan, Tat Tak School served local village children before relocating to a new building in 1965. The institution closed in 1998 due to declining enrollment and has remained abandoned ever since.
The school was featured in a 2013 TV series, "I Wouldn't Go in There", on the National Geographic Channel.
