Siobhan Haughey won a bronze medal in the women's 100m Freestyle at the Paris Olympics on Thursday, her second medal in the Games.
The Tokyo silver medalist finished the first 50 meters at 25.09, the second of the match, but was overtaken in the final 50 meters and finished 3rd place at 52.33.
Swedish swimming star Sarah Sjoestroem, also the 100m freestyle world record holder, won the gold at 52.16, followed by Torri Huske from the United States who finished the race at 52.29.
Chief Executive John Lee Ka-chiu expressed his heartfelt congratulations to Haughey and stated that Haughey "remained fearless against the world's best athletes throughout the competitions" and set another brilliant result.
Haughey is the most decorated Hong Kong Olympian, winning four medals so far, including the one she snatched in the 200m Freestyle event on Tuesday (Jul 30).
