China’s market regulator held the fourth seminar on fair competition for enterprises this year, as Beijing pledged for anti-involution amid deflationary pressure.
State Administration for Market Regulation vice minister Meng Yang said that the authorities will enhance fair competition scrutiny and strengthen anti-monopoly supervision and enforcemen.
The regulator also promised to improve the efficiency of investment and merger and acquisition scrutiny, so as to create a favorable market environment and broader space for the development of private enterprises, Meng said.
Eight enterprises, including Goldwind Science & Technology (2208), Great Wall Motor (2333), Vipshop, NetEase (9999) and SF Express (6936), participated in the seminar.
The persons-in-charge of these enterprises made speeches and put forward their views and suggestions on enhancing fair competition governance.
