Hang Seng Index slumps 155 points by midday.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index fell 0.63 percent to 24,486, delivering a half-day market turnover of HK$90 billion.

Tech gauge also dropped 1.37 percent to 4,237 points.

In the mainland, the Shanghai Stock Exchange Composite Index went up by 2.89 points, or 0.08 percent, to 3,826 points, while the Shenzhen Stock Exchange Composite Index rose 0.41 percent to 12,911 points.
