Chinese catering company Yuen Kee Food applied for an initial public offering in Hong Kong on Monday amid growing momentum in the city's new listing market.

Its restaurant brand, Yuen Kee Dumpling, operates 4,266 stores as of September 30, 2025, marking the largest Chinese-style quick-service restaurant company in China and across the world, according to CIC.
In Hong Kong and Macau, it opened 48 stores as of last year, while it expanded five overseas stores in Singapore.
The catering firm also owns a retail brand Yuen Kee Taste, offering pre-packaged dumplings and wontons through various sales channels, according to an exchange filing.
For the first nine months in 2025, the company saw its profit grow 18.8 percent to 142 million yuan (HK$158.8 million), while its revenue rose 11 percent to 1.98 billion yuan.
The proceeds will be used for digital and intelligent construction, overseas market expansion, branding and market penetration, and supply chain upgrade, the company said.
Previously, its peer Guangzhou Xiao Noodles Catering (2408) landed in Hong Kong's market, while its shares dropped nearly 15 percent to date after its debut.
