Two cases of boars struck by sedan on Tolo Highway in one day

Four cars were involved in two different cases of accidents that led to the deaths of three boars on Tolo Highway Tuesday morning.

Shortly before 7 am today, a sedan was driving in the direction of Tai Po while on the Tolo Highway, and when it got near the Science Park, it crashed into a large boar.

The driver contacted the police for assistance, and the boar was confirmed dead on site after examination.

Separately, shortly before 8 am today, on the Tolo Highway towards Kowloon, three sedans also ran into two young boars, which were both also pronounced dead on the spot.

The incident also caused temporary closures in the area near the Science Park on the Tolo Highway.
