Man missing since yesterday found dead in Yuen Long

A 67-year-old man, who went missing a day earlier, was found dead in Yuen Long on Thursday.

Around 11 am today, police found a male body and a sedan on Nim Wan Road. 

Officers said the deceased was a man named Chan Chi-keung, who went missing at around 8 am on Wednesday (Jan 31). 

It is understood that he was driving to work despite not recovering from a cold and was last seen near the Shing Mun Tunnels. 

His colleague saw Chan's sedan parked near the tunnel entrance. However, he could not find Chan at their workplace after returning to the office. 

His family members also could not find trace of him and resorted to calling the police on the same day.   

The case was handed over to the police for follow-up and to investigate the cause of this incident.
