According to the clip that was posted yesterday (Dec 18), it can be seen that multiple men and women were suspected of getting into a scuffle at a tent opposite a restaurant on Temple Street in Yau Ma Tei.
The two sides were pushing and pulling each other, and the situation was chaotic.
Someone was pushed to the ground along with the folding tables and plastic stools, with the tableware scattering on the ground, leading the other diners to scatter in fear.
It can be seen from the video that a man wearing an apron had his hair pulled while a man wearing a dark windbreaker was also seen punching others, and then two women wearing aprons were seen pulling the aproned man away.
Many onlookers were also seen commenting on the fights and asking for a person in charge to come and handle the situation.
A man nearby later came out to mediate, and the video ended.
A police spokesman stated that they received a report at 9:37 p.m. on Sunday (Dec 17) that six people were suspected of being drunk and disorderly causing trouble outside 22 Temple Street.
The spokesman added that the scene was calm after the officers arrived, and the people causing the affray were not found nearby.
The police have classified the incident as a "dispute” and “discovery of intoxicated individuals" case.
