Some netizens commented that the fountain was not durable, which damaged only after a day. The others also worried about the high maintenance cost that wasted the government budget.
The Kwun Tong waterfront music fountain officially opened on the 22nd of this month. Many people gathered at the music fountain to see if it was “worth the penny”.
It belonged to a project recommended by the fourth term of the Kwun Tong District Council under the Signature Project Scheme.
With an area of about 3,740 square meters, the site comprised music fountains, interactive wet play areas and an amenity lawn.
