Former Demosisto activists Agnes Chow Ting and Ivan Lam Long-yin have withdrawn their bail application pending appeal, after being sentenced to jail for 10 months and seven months respectively over charges of inciting people to besiege the police headquarters in Wan Chai in June last year.
Chow and Lam, along with Joshua Wong Chi-fung previously pleaded guilty to inciting people on Harcourt Road to join an unauthorized assembly on June 21, 2019.
The two have both put forward an appeal against their sentence, thus applied for bail pending the appeal.
The legal representative of Chow and Lam said the two will soon finish serving their sentence and will be released in June and April this year respectively.
