Shooting in Berlin leaves 5 wounded, 2 critical

Five people were wounded, two critically, in a shooting at a residential building in Berlin on Sunday night.

The incident occurred in the central Tiergarten district. German newspaper Bild reported one of the wounded walked to the nearby St Franziskus Hospital for treatment.

Paramedics treated a seriously injured woman and man, along with two other victims at the scene before taking them to hospital.

A police spokesperson said they could not provide further details as investigations are ongoing. The residential building and hospital reportedly have armed police stationed outside.
