Action actor tackled by kung fu fan

Martial arts actor Philip Ng Wan-lung was kicked by a kung fu fan while promoting his new film Twilight of the Warriors: Walled In.

In a video that went viral, a middle-aged man was picked to interact in martial arts with Ng, who played as a villain Wong Gau in the action film set in Kowloon Walled City in the 1980s, at a meet-and-greet event on Saturday.

The fan was eager to show off his skills and kicked the book out of Ng's hand, who was unprepared.

Later, when Ng was demonstrating the "one inch punch," the man seemed stunned. While extending his hand to Ng on a goodwill basis, the man bumped into the actor, causing him to nearly fall to the ground.

People denounced the fan's sneak attack, saying he "doesn't have martial ethics." Ng thanked people for their concern and said he was OK.
