A duplex unit at The Legacy, an ultra-luxury residential project in Mid-Levels West jointly developed by Henderson Land Development (0012) and New World Development (0017), has been sold for about HK$880 million, marking the highest price of the single residential unit in Hong Kong.
The first flat is sized 8,310 square feet and features a four-bedroom layout. The buyer also bought the nearby 2,773-sq-ft flat on the same floor for about HK$210 million.
Based on the discounted transaction price of more than HK$880 million, the deal is about 44 percent higher than the HK$609 million paid for a duplex unit at Mount Nicholson Phase II, previously dubbed Asia’s most expensive home. However, the Mount Nicholson unit’s size is 4,217 sq ft, about half of The Legacy’s duplex unit.
