Henderson Land Development (0012) said its flagship Central office development, the Henderson, has won three major honors at the International Property Awards in London, including the top title “World’s Best Property,” as the developer marks its 50th anniversary with strong leasing momentum.
Henderson said the Henderson is the only Hong Kong project to have received the “World’s Best Property” title since the awards were established, and makes the group the first local developer to win the top international honor.
At the awards ceremony, the project also picked up “Best International Commercial High Rise Development” and “Best Commercial High Rise Development Asia Pacific,” standing out among thousands of global competitors.
Founded in 1993, the International Property Awards recognize achievements in architecture, property development, interior design and real estate marketing, with judging criteria covering design, quality, service, innovation and sustainability. This year, about 3,000 projects from Europe, Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, the Americas and Africa competed for the awards.
The super Grade-A commercial tower, located in Central, achieved an occupancy rate of about 90 percent, Henderson Land said last week.
