Volunteers from Hong Kong Customs took underprivileged kids on a special tram ride.
Children from Sowers Action Sham Shui Po Centre traveled around Hong Kong Island on Saturday on an open-top tram along with deputy commissioner Chan Tsz-tat, assistant commissioner Hui Kim, and the department's volunteer team.
"The children rushed for best seats to enjoy the views," the team noted. There was also much interest in buildings and features of certain districts.
The group also played games along the way to test children's understanding of what customs officers do and checked out the needs for the youth program Customs YES, which targets young people aged between 12 and 24 who can join it once they are eligible.
Customs officers also expressed gratitude to Hong Kong Tramways for sponsoring this event.
