South Korean boy group SEVENTEEN returned to Kai Tak Stadium on Saturday night for their two-day WORLD TOUR[NEW_]IN HONG KONG concert following their show here last September, leaving fans thrilled with an explosive performance.
The nine members kicked off the show with a high-energy performance of “HBD”, immediately sending fans into a frenzy. They followed with “THUNDER”, delivering tight choreography and powerful vocals before greeting the audience.
Leader S.Coups noted that they came back to the city because of its incredible atmosphere, while several members charmed the crowd with a few Cantonese lines. They thanked fans for their support and for giving them a chance to enjoy Hong Kong’s food.
The encore kept the momentum going. After a quick costume change, the group performed “HBD” and “THUNDER” again, followed by “Clap”, which got fans on their feet clapping along to the song.
A playful run of songs featuring the subunit track “Fighting” and the upbeat intro to “Very Nice” pushed the energy even higher.
One memorable moment came when Mingyu grabbed a water bottle at the edge of the stage and sprayed the front row fans – and even splashed fellow member Seungkwan. Seungkwan snatched the bottle back and the two chased each other across the stage, delighting the audience.
