Hong Kong residents can enjoy free printing and photocopying services at various MTR stations via Video Teller Machines (VTM) established by the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (Asia).
The services went viral on the social media platform Threads recently, with netizens sharing that "the effect is quite good for a free service."
The free service at Austin, Fo Tan, Kowloon Tong, Lo Wu, Lok Ma Chau, Nam Cheong, Tai Wai and Tung Chung stations are available for both bank customers and MTR passengers.
Other VTMs are located at Hong Kong Science Park, Airside in Kai Tak, and Whampoa Garden in Hung Hom.
According to the bank's official website, new customers from Hong Kong and mainland China can also use the VTMs to open accounts, register for online banking, and instantly receive a debit card without a prior appointment.
Residents who wish to use the free printing service can download the ICBC (Asia) mobile application, enter "MTR Convenience Services," and follow the instructions on the machine's screen to present a QR code.
