Toddler injured in fall at HKUST staff quarters

An 18-month-old girl was injured after a fall at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology staff quarters on Monday night.

Police received a call for help from a 41-year-old woman at around 10pm, reporting that her daughter had fallen inside their unit and hit her forehead, briefly losing consciousness.

Paramedics arrived and administered first aid. The toddler regained consciousness and was taken to Tseung Kwan O Hospital for examination and treatment.

Police are treating the case as an accidental injury.
