A factory building in Kwun Tong was splashed with red paint in an early morning vandalism case on Wednesday.
Police received a report at about 1am that the exterior walls of Texwood Industrial Centre on How Ming Street had been defaced. Officers arrived to find multiple walls on the Wai Yip Street side covered in red paint, with broken glass bottle fragments believed to have contained the paint scattered on the ground.
Debt collection leaflets were also found nearby featuring a woman’s photo and a warning against a “scammer,” suggesting the incident might be linked to a financial dispute.
The case has been classified as criminal damage and is being investigated by Kwun Tong district crime squad. No arrests have been made so far.
