Law Society holds election forum for legal constituency candidates

A total of 1,134,652 citizens have voted for candidates running in the Geographical Constituencies of the Legislative Council election as of 7.30pm on Sunday, with a voter turnout rate of 27.46 percent.
Approximately 615 ordinary polling stations have been set up for this election, primarily located in schools, community centers, and government facilities.
Voting hours have been extended, running from 7.30am to 11.30pm. Voters must bring their original Hong Kong identity card to exercise their right to vote at the polling station designated on their poll card.
Twenty members will be directly elected by citizens through the Geographical Constituencies, while 30 members will be elected by functional constituencies.
Approximately 1,500 electors of the Election Committee Constituency will cast their votes to elect 40 LegCo members.
Additionally, the voter turnout rate for the functional constituencies was recorded at 34.39 percent as of 7.30pm, while the voter turnout rate for the Election Committee constituency stood at 98.64 percent.
