Asian Ethnic Cultural Performances+ (AECP+), one of the highlights of the Asia+ Festival 2025 that showcases performing arts from around 30 Belt and Road countries and regions, has attracted 33,000 locals and visitors on Sunday (Nov 16).
Under the theme “Dance in Immensity,” this year’s AECP+ celebrated life’s rhythms and the shared resonance of cultures through dance at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre Piazza & Foyer Stage.
From breathtaking, dazzling whirling dance techniques to passionate and exuberant folk dance movements, the performances span diverse styles, blending dance and music to tell vivid stories and the unique charm of different cultures.
On-site booths and workshops feature intricate crafts, traditional costumes, and signature delicacies, creating a fully immersive experience.

Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism Rosanna Law Shuk-pui noted that the Asia+ Festival 2025 aims to build a sustainable platform for cultural and artistic exchanges in Asia and the Belt and Road region.
This flagship initiative fully demonstrates Hong Kong's role as a center for international cultural and artistic exchange, she added.
A citizen surnamed Lee and his partner mentioned that the experience has deepened their interest in traveling to these countries. They also expressed hope that the cultural booths and workshops would bring a fresh experience.
Additionally, the Vibrant Dance — National Costume Exhibition will showcase traditional costumes and dance attire from around the world until November 23, with complimentary entry for the public.
Calling all foodies! The 25th Macau Food Festival will be held at Sai Van Lake Square from 14 to 30 November (4pm to 11pm from Monday to Thursday; 3pm to 12am on Friday, Saturday and Sunday). Over 140 local food and beverage booths will form “food streets” featuring a diversity of Chinese, European and Asian fares, with a Dessert Street and Flavors Food Street! This year’s food festival runs concurrently with the “Culinary City” events featuring the "International Master Chefs Competition for Chinese Cuisine" and the "International Smart Catering Equipment Expo” at the Galaxy International Convention Center.
