The Transportation Department has announced special transportation arrangements in light of the upcoming match between the Hong Kong team and Bangladesh at 8pm tonight at Kai Tak Stadium, part of the 2025 AFC Asian Cup.

Given the anticipated heavy traffic in the area around Kai Tak Sports Park, spectators are advised to utilize public transportation and to refrain from driving if possible.
The authorities have coordinated with public transportation operators to enhance services in order to manage and disperse crowds effectively.
MTR
MTR will increase the frequency of trains on the Tuen Ma Line to accommodate passenger demand. The frequency will be increased to every two or three minutes after the match to facilitate the dispersal of spectators.
The cross-boundary passengers can take the Tuen Ma Line at Kai Tak or Sung Wong Toi Station to Tai Wai Station, then transit to the East Rail Line to Lo Wu. As the Lo Wu border control point operates until midnight, the cross-boundary passengers are advised to take the train to Lo Wu not later than one departing from Sung Wong Toi Station at 10.59pm and from Kai Tak Station at 11.01pm.
Bus
Franchised bus operators will provide 10 special bus routes at the Sung Wong Toi Road Pick-up and Drop-off Area (PUDOA) to major districts across Hong Kong, Kowloon, and the New Territories.
Taxi
The Kai Tak Stadium Taxi PUDOA, located outside Gate H, will be open the whole day for taxi pick-up and drop-off.
For Sung Wong Toi Road PUDOA, it will remain open for drop off during the admission period from 6 pm to 8 pm, and will be suspended during the dispersal period for special bus routes.
The Kai Tak Arena Taxi Drop-off Area will be opened only for taxi drop-off.
Private Car
The PUDOA at Kai Tak Arena will remain open for both drop-off and pick-up until 6 pm, while the PUDOA of Kai Tak Youth Sports Ground will be open for drop-off only from 6 pm to 8 pm.
Kai Tak Stadium PUDOA will be open for pick-up after the match, while other PUDOAs for private cars will be closed.
Parking
The Stadium Carpark will be closed to the public, while the Arena Carpark will be open until 4pm. To reserve a parking space, the visitors have to purchase parking vouchers.
Free Parking privileges at Kai Tak Mall will not be available for redemption from 4pm to 11.59pm.
Event highlights
The 3-meter-tall inflatable jersey will return to Kai Tak Sports Park. Spectacles can take a picture in the central square before and after a match.
There will also be a Hong Kong Team Official Pop-Up Store, HKRT POP UP, set up in Sung Wong Toi station, where fans can be the first to purchase souvenirs surrounding the Hong Kong team, such as cheer towels and keychains to support the team.
