The MTR Corporation announced that stations remain open during operating hours to provide temporary shelter for passengers in need, as the Observatory issued the No. 10 hurricane signal on Sunday.
The company has distributed water, hot drinks, and dry rations to affected passengers while setting up charging stations during the typhoon warning.
It also reassured passengers that the arrangements prioritize safety and expressed gratitude to the public for their understanding.

Meanwhile, maintenance crews remain on standby to inspect outdoor track sections and related infrastructure once the storm warning is downgraded, aiming to restore services as quickly as safety permits.
However, certain routes, including the East Rail Line, Tuen Ma Line, Tung Chung Line, and Airport Express, may require additional preparation time due to their extended outdoor sections.
