Police were called to a subdivided flat in Man Yuen Building on Man Yuen Street in Jordan around noon today after a real estate agent reported discovering approximately 10 BB guns of varying sizes, along with BB pellets, shell casings, gas canisters, and military-style clothing inside the unit.
Authorities confiscated the items and took the agent to the police station for questioning.
The case has been classified as discovery of firearms or ammunition and handed over to the Yau Tsim Police District Criminal Investigation Team for further investigation.
According to sources, the unit was rented in October last year by a 24-year-old woman and a 32-year-old man.
However, the tenants fell behind on rent between December and January, prompting the landlord to send the agent and bailiffs to repossess the property today.
Upon entry, they found the BB guns, magazines, pellets, and handcuffs in the living room. Unable to contact the tenants, the agent alerted the police.
