Following the recent viral frenzy surrounding American streamer IShowSpeed's China tour, two of the world's biggest internet personalities - MrBeast and Khaby Lame - are preparing to make their mark on the Chinese market, bringing their combined 893 million followers into the country's digital sphere.
According to China News Weekly, Jimmy Donaldson, commonly known as MrBeast, currently ranked as the world's top creator by Forbes, will travel all the way to China during the fourth quarter of this year to film a variety show.
Meanwhile, Khaby Lame, the Senegalese-Italian TikTok sensation famous for his silent comedy sketches, will officially debut across Chinese social media platforms this July with exclusive content tailored for local audiences.
The Forbes 2025 Top Creators list, released June 16, reveals the staggering reach of these digital superstars: MrBeast commands 634 million followers globally across platforms, while Lame boasts 259 million.
Their China expansion follows the trail blazed by IShowSpeed, whose March to April 17-day tour of eight Chinese cities, including Hong Kong, generated massive crowds and over 50 hours of live-streamed content that dominated online discussions.
IShowSpeed's China tour demonstrated the enormous commercial potential of such visits. Now, with two even bigger stars preparing their China debuts, brands are already lining up for partnership opportunities that could redefine influencer marketing in the world's second-largest economy.
