Youtuber MrBeast reportedly set for livestream debut on Kuaishou, stock surges

YouTube superstar MrBeast is reportedly launching his first livestream on a Chinese platform on Kuaishou (1024) on July 26 at 8 pm, according to Chinese media. 

The short video platform’s shares jumped nearly 7 percent following the news.

The livestream is said to feature Chinese cultural elements, including a Dunhuang mural painting challenge and hanfu quick-change, along with AI real-time translation to allow seamless interaction between Chinese and English-speaking viewers.

MrBeast, with over 410 million YouTube subscribers, has shown interest in the China market before, including launching an account on Bilibili (9626).
