HOS flat selection starts

Flat selection for the Sale of Home Ownership Scheme (HOS) Flats 2024 commenced on Thursday, allowing applicants to select from five new developments located in Kai Tak, Yau Tong, Kwun Tong, Tuen Mun, and Tung Chung. 

There are a total of 7,132 units available for sale, with prices set at 70 percent of the assessed market values, ranging from HK$1.43 million to HK$4.67 million.

Many applicants visited the Housing Authority Customer Service Centre in Lok Fu in the morning, where a large number of sea-view units in Block B of Kai Ying Court were selected by 10am.

The Housing Authority has allocated 2,900 units for families participating in the “Priority Scheme for Families with Elderly Members” and “Families with Newborns Allocation Priority Scheme”, while 700 units are reserved for one-person applicants. 

The selection sequence began with family applicants affected by estate clearance, followed by those under the two priority schemes, and concluded with one-person applicants.
