Citizens will have the chance to win up to HK$188 million in the largest-ever Mark Six Chinese New Year Snowball draw to be held on February 2.

Hong Kong Jockey Club announced Monday that it will offer HK$228 million in prizes during the first month of the Year of the Snake, including racing jackpots and the LNY Snowball draw.
The Feb 2 draw will carry a snowball of HK$150 million and the First Division Prize Fund is estimated to reach HK$188 million for a single HK$10 winning unit, which is a record-high dividend payout for a HK$10 winning point.
Meanwhile, prize money of HK$20.8 million is up for grabs at Chinese New Year Raceday, as the Triple Trio will be topped up from the Jackpot Reserve for the Chinese New Year Raceday on January 31 in Sha Tin and the estimated dividend for a single HK$10 winning unit could reach HK$18 million.
The Quartet & First 4 Merged Pool will also be topped up with a HK$2.8 million jackpot. More jackpots will be added to the rest of the seven local race meetings between February 5 and 26, with details to be announced in the due course.
All betting pools for the Jan 31 race day will start selling at noon on January 30 while tickets for the LNY Snowball draw will be available after the Mark 6 draw on Saturday (Jan 25) night.
