Ng Cheuk-yan won a bronze medal in the women's 100m backstroke event at the 4th Asian Para Games in Hangzhou, the first medal won by the Hong Kong team in the Games this year.

At the 100-meter backstroke finals held at the HOC Aquatic Sports Arena, Ng finished with a time of 1:33.37, behind Chinese rivals Jiang Yuyan and Zhu Ji, who nabbed gold and silver, respectively.
This win made the 13-year-old swimmer the first medal winner for Hong Kong at the fourth edition of the Asia Para Games.
Yeung also congratulated Ng's third-place finish, stating that she had given it her all in the competition and won the first medal for the Hong Kong, China, delegation.
He added that it also encourages many other Hong Kong athletes, and he is looking forward to seeing more breakthroughs made by Hong Kong athletes and success in more events.
