Macau police are now looking into the death of two women, both found naked and lying by the window of a hotel room with bruise marks on their necks.
According to Macau media, police received the report from firefighters around 1am on Saturday, who found the two naked dead bodies in a room on the 9/F of MGM COTAI in Cotai.
There was no sign of a physical fight at the scene. After a preliminary investigation, police suspected that the murderer strangled the two women to death with a bathrobe tie.
Officers also suspected the murderer cleaned up the scene after the attack as they have yet to find any belongings or identity documents of the two women.
Officers are looking into the condition of the two women as well to see if they were drunk or drugged. An autopsy will be conducted later to confirm the cause of death.
Police are checking the hotel's security tape to search for the murderer.
