Fosun Pharma plans vaccine unit spin-off listing

Shanghai Fosun Pharma (2196) has announced plans to spin off its subsidiary Fosun Adgenvax (Chengdu) Biopharmaceutical and list it on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, as the pharmaceutical firms are favored by investors this year.

Fosun Antigen and its affiliates specialize in the research, production, and sales of human vaccines, with established technology platforms for both bacterial and viral vaccines. 

Currently, Fosun Pharma holds a 70.08 percent stake in Fosun Antigen through a subsidiary, while the remaining 29.92 percent is owned by 17 other shareholders.
