Kowloon Funeral Parlour and Tung Wah Group of Hospitals are providing complimentary funeral services to support residents who lost family members in the Wang Fuk Court fire, which had claimed 55 lives as of 3pm on Thursday.
In a social media post, Kowloon Funeral Parlour stated that it is collaborating with the nonprofit organization "Forget Thee Not" to activate an emergency support mechanism for those who tragically lost their lives.
The parlor also expressed its deepest condolences to the victims and extended its sincerest sympathy to the injured and the bereaved families.

Separately, Tung Wah Group of Hospitals announced it has allocated a HK$3 million fund to provide complimentary funeral services to bereaved families.
Service units under the organization have also prepared temporary accommodations for residents in need and have arranged transportation for those requiring assistance.
Additionally, the charitable organization Banyan Services Association, which has provided end-of-life and complimentary funeral services for years, set up a booth outside the housing estate.
The organization mobilized volunteers on short notice, arriving in Tai Po around noon to help affected families with obtaining death certificates and arranging free funeral and cremation services.
As of Thursday afternoon, they had not yet received any requests for assistance.
