Eva Precision Industrial Holdings (0838) has won orders from BYD (1211) and has begun to supply products to the leading Chinese automaker.
The company said future long-term collaborations with BYD is conducive to achieving its overall business development and strategic objectives in the new energy vehicles sector.
The cooperation will initially take place at BYD factories in Changsha and subsequently extend to BYD factories located in other cities in the mainland, including Zhengzhou, Jiangxi and Xi'an.
Meanwhile, BYD will sign an agreement with Thailand's largest industrial property developer WHA tomorrow to build its first electric vehicle factory in Southeast Asia, according to mainland media reports.
The factory in Rayong Province in eastern Thailand will be built at an investment about 30 billion baht (HK$6.4 billion).
